Elm Signs MoU with King Salman International Airport (KSIA) to Advance the Development of Future Operational Ecosystems

Elm, a pioneer in digital solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the King Salman International Airport Development Company. The collaboration aims to support the development of one of the world's most ambitious airport projects and to build an advanced operational ecosystem that strengthens the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub and a strategic gateway connecting East and West.

 

The MoU was signed by Al-Amin AlHazmi, Chief Executive Officer of Elm's Integrated Solutions Group, while Mr. Marco Mejia, Acting CEO of King Salman International Airport.

 

The agreement opens broad avenues of cooperation, including the development of digital platforms that enhance operational efficiency, the exploration and adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, augmented reality, and unmanned aerial systems, as well as the creation of an innovation-driven environment that supports future-ready operational models. The MoU also includes administrative, operational, and digital consultancy services aimed at redesigning procedures, improving the end-to-end user journey, and optimizing service and logistics flows across the airport environment.

 

Additional areas of collaboration include initiatives focused on human capital development through specialized assessment and training programs, along with enhancing data analytics and predictive modeling capabilities to support decision-making, elevate safety levels, and improve service quality. The MoU also encompasses the study of advanced operational models for business and service management within the airport, in addition to developing managed services and IT capabilities that ensure system reliability and continuous performance.

 

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Majid bin Saad Al-Arifi, Elm's Spokesperson and Vice President of Marketing, noted that the MoU forms part of a broader strategic direction through which Elm aims to contribute to the development of advanced digital infrastructure across vital national sectors. He emphasized that Elm is leveraging its technical expertise to support the aviation sector's transition toward future-focused operating models that enhance service quality, improve efficiency, and meet the evolving demands of global travel—strengthening the airport's readiness to serve as a key global node in international air mobility.
